Avoid Scams

rListing is NOT involved in any Transactions

Common-Sense Rules

  • Deal locally with people you can meet in person - probably the best way to avoid scams
  • ALWAYS ask for a phone number and then YOU call them
  • Never give out financial information
  • Never wire funds via Western Union or any other wire service - anyone who ask you to do this first is a scammer.
  • Fake cashier cheques and money orders are common.
  • If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

You should never deal with anyone that refuses to provide a phone number or refuses to meet with you if you are both in the same city

Do your research, a listing posted here is probably posted on other websites.
