Avoid Scams
rListing is NOT involved in any Transactions
Common-Sense Rules
- Deal locally with people you can meet in person - probably the best way to avoid scams
- ALWAYS ask for a phone number and then YOU call them
- Never give out financial information
- Never wire funds via Western Union or any other wire service - anyone who ask you to do this first is a scammer.
- Fake cashier cheques and money orders are common.
- If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
You should never deal with anyone that refuses to provide a phone number or refuses to meet with you if you are both in the same city
Do your research, a listing posted here is probably posted on other websites.
